Installation

1. Install Flutter

Follow the official guide for your OS, then check your version:

flutter --version   # Dart must be 3.8.1 or newer
flutter doctor      # fix anything marked ✗ for Android

2. Clone and fetch packages

git clone https://github.com/harshbhx/mealmind.git
cd mealmind
flutter pub get

3. Check that everything compiles

flutter analyze
flutter test

Both should finish without errors. The analyzer still lists some info and warning items. Those don't block anything, and CI only fails on errors.

4. Optional extras

Your own logoYour own Razorpay keyTable QR codes

The bill PDF uses assets/images/Logo_w_o_bg.png. The repo ships a placeholder (the default app icon). Replace it with your restaurant's logo, keeping the same file name.

lib/user/screens/razorpay_payment_screen.dart uses a public Razorpay test key:

const razorpayKey = 'rzp_test_...';

Replace it with the key ID from Razorpay Dashboard → Settings → API Keys. Test-mode payments never move real money; use Razorpay's test cards and UPI IDs.

Danger

Never put a live key secret in the app. Live payments must be verified on a server.

Each QR code only needs to contain the table number, either as plain text (5) or as JSON ({"table":"5"}). Any QR generator works.
